“Listen, I tell you mystery!

Like it or not, if you call yourself a Christian, or identify with the church in some way, part of the package is this vein of apocalypticism that runs through our scriptures and our history. Today’s readings are a case in point. Amos the Hebrew prophet speaks of a dark and terrible Day of the Lord. The Apostle Paul speaks of a time when believers will be “caught up together to meet the Lord in the air,” a key passage for rapture theology.

The Huffinton Post carried a short article Nov. 2011,with the title: “Harold Camping apologizes for faulty rapture predictions and retires.” You may remember that Camping had predicted that the rapture would occur on May 21st of this year, which would involve believers being caught up to heaven followed by a time of great suffering on earth for those left behind, moving along toward God’s day of final judgment. This made for all the elements of a perfect news story and was picked up by the major news networks. When this did not come to pass, the updated date was October 21st of this year, a little over two weeks ago. As far as I can tell, this did not make the national news in the same way, which is a positive sign. The article on the Post this week gave a brief review of these facts and mentioned that Camping…

“[Jesus Christ] may be the only fictional character in literature whose entire life story can be traced to other sources.”

American Biblical scholar Joseph Atwill will be appeared before the British public for the first time in London on the 19th of October to present a controversial new discovery: ancient confessions recently uncovered now prove, according to Atwill, that the New Testament was written by first-century Roman aristocrats and that they fabricated the entire story of Jesus Christ. His presentation will be part of a one-day symposium entitled “Covert Messiah” at Conway Hall in Holborn.

Although to many scholars his theory…

The Jesus Mystery

The real story of Jesus is not the historical Messiah, but a myth based on perennial Pagan story. Christianity was not a new and unique revelation but is actually a Jewish adaptation of the ancient Pagan mystery religion. This is what has been called the ‘Jesus Mysteries Thesis’. It may sound farfetched at first. There is, after all, a great deal of unsubstantiated nonsense written about the ‘real’ Jesus, so any revolutionary theory should be approached with a healthy dose of scepticism. It is however, firmly based upon years of meticulous scholarly research and extensive references so that people can check sources for themselves.

Was the ‘Original’ Jesus a Pagan God?

There are three major elements about the light to comprehend. First, what the light is, second, what the source of the light is, and third how you can experience the light.

On the site where the Vatican now stands, there once stood a Pagan temple. Here Pagan priests observed sacred ceremonies which early Christians found so disturbing that they tried to erase all evidence of them ever having been practiced. What were these shocking Pagan rites? Gruesome sacrifices or obscene orgies perhaps? This is what we have been led to believe. But the truth is far stranger than this fiction.

Where today the gathered faithful revere their Lord Jesus Christ, the ancients worshipped another Godman who, like Jesus, had been miraculously born on the 25th of December before three shepherds. In this ancient sanctuary Pagan congregations once glorified a Pagan redeemer who, like…

Pagan America

The United States: A Country founded on Paganism
Pagan
1. A person who is not a Christian, Moslem, or Jew; heathen.
2. One who has no religion. –The American Heritage Dictionary, 1st edition

Although the common meaning of Paganism seems to imply atheism, a Pagan can worship any other god not common to the god of the Torah, the Bible or the Koran. This also includes those who worshiped gods before the advent of the Judeo-Christian religions. As Mortimer Adler put it: “Socrates, Plato, and Aristotle, Marcus Aurelius, Epictetus, and Cicero were Western pagans. The Western peoples of pre-Christian antiquity were all pagans in the sense defined. Many remained pagans during the early centuries of the Christian era; and from the 16th century on, the number of pagans living in communities that were predominantly Christian or Muslim has steadily increased.” [Adler]

Ēostre is the Germanic Goddess of Spring, she was very popular with the Anglo-Saxon pagan brigade who worshiped her. Eostre is connected with renewal and fertility. Eggs and rabbits are sacred to her, as is the full moon, since the ancients saw in its markings the image of a rabbit or hare. She is also a dawn goddess, and may be related to the Greek Goddess of the dawn Eos.

Her son Tammuz took on many names as well such as Horus, Apollo, Sol, Krishna, Hercules, Mithra, and finally Jesus. The name Jesus H. Christ, in fact, originated by Constantine as Hesus Horus Krishna.“Hesus Horus Krishna” evolved into Jesus H. Christ over the years. All names of Tammuz put together for the son of the sungod and member of the Trinity worshiped on Sunday the day of his sungod. We will get to that in greater detail later in this book series.

Massive Security Breach on the House of Representatives’ Computer Networks

The strange case of the three Awan brothers, who got themselves hired as IT Professionals, working for a number of Democratic Congressmen at an extraordinarily high rate of pay. They had access to intelligence and homeland security information, among much else, but were fired weeks after the Obama administration left office:

“Imran Awan threatened that he is ‘very powerful’ and would use that power to have people kidnapped in Pakistan.”

You might recall a couple of months ago when House Democrats fired technology staffers Hina Alvi and her husband, Imran Awan, part of the Pakistani family now under criminal investigation for its role in a massive security breach on the House of Representatives’ computer networks. Now, Alvi and Awan have fled to Pakistan, where they have joined their family, have substantial resources, and according to a report, “VIP-level protection.”

In February, as noted previously, the strange case of the three Awan brothers, who got themselves hired as IT Professionals, working for a number of Democratic Congressmen at an extraordinarily high rate of pay. They had access to intelligence and homeland security information, among much else, but were fired weeks after the Obama administration…

Trump: Novice-in-Chief

The real problem is that Trump has such an absolutely tenuous connection to reality that he feels perfectly willing and able to lie about just about anything, even things that are trivially disproved.

Lisa's leaks - 'Madness in the Magnolias'

Paul Ryan is defending Donald Trump’s attempts to interfere with FBI investigations (commonly called “obstruction of justice”) by claiming thatTrump just didn’t know:

Of course, there needs to be a degree of independence between [the Department of Justice], FBI and the White House, and a line of communication’s established. The president’s new at this. He’s new to government. So he probably wasn’t steeped in the long-running protocols that establish the relationships between DOJ, the FBI and White Houses. He’s just new to this.

Is Ryan claiming that ignorance of the law is a good excuse? Even for the president?

But I personally don’t think that this is even a believable excuse. The real problem is that Trump has such an absolutely tenuous connection to reality that he feels perfectly willing and able to lie about just about anything, even things that are trivially disproved.

Fake News Purveyors Promote “Alt-Right” Claims That Susan Rice And James Comey Imperiled By Supposed FBI Investigation

The stunning development in Mr. Trump’s presidency raised the specter of political interference by a sitting president into an existing investigation by the nation’s leading law enforcement agency. It immediately ignited Democratic calls for a special counsel to lead the Russia inquiry.

Fake news purveyors are promoting dubious claims from “Alt-Right” figures Mike Cernovich And Jack Posobiec that former FBI Director James Comey dropped an FBI investigation into former national security advisor Susan Rice because it would have implicated him. They are also claiming that Rice is in legal jeopardy for unmasking aides of President Donald Trump who were caught on incidental FBI surveillance. There have been no mainstream media reports that Rice or Comey committed any wrongdoing, and both Cernovich and Posobiec have a history of pushing misinformation and conspiracy theories.

Lets recap: F.B.I. Director James Comey Is Fired. On May 9, President Donald Trump fired FBI Director James Comey, according to The New York Times. The Times reported that Trump claimed he was following the recommendations of Attorney General Jeff Sessions and Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein, who in a memo cited Comey’s July 5…

US president and Israeli prime minister speak of hope for regional deal but words shed little light on how to achieve it

Donald Trump has said he has “a rare opportunity to bring security and stability and peace” to the Middle East after arriving in Israel on the second leg of his first foreign tour as US president.

Trump was greeted on the tarmac at David Ben-Gurion airport by the Israeli prime minister, Benjamin Netanyahu, and the president, Reuven Rivlin.

Descending the steps of Air Force One with his wife, Melania – and apparently referring to the planning problems that have overshadowed a trip Israeli officials have described privately as “chaotic” – Trump asked Netanyahu: “What is the protocol?” Throwing up his hands, the PM replied: “Who knows?”
